The idea behind the Seven Habits came from a client who asked, "With so many small and mid-sized catalog companies struggling to make money, why don't more of these business owners get help with the problems that are blocking their growth?"

I asked the same question to several frustrated owners. Without exception, the reasons they gave for not enlisting the help of an outside catalog expert fell into one of seven preconceived notions -- the seven habits described in this brochure.
